May 1st to May 4th, 1863

Union commander, Joseph Hooker, launches a brilliantly conceived plan against Confederate General Robert E. Lee. However, Lee will achieve a great victory at a tremendous loss, that being Lt General Stonewall Jackson, who was accidentally wounded by his own men. Follow the famous Jackson Flank Attack to its conclusion in the darkness of May 2nd, 1863, where Jackson is shot, through the morass of confusion. You will hear the descriptions of the bloodiest morning in U.S. history to follow on May 3rd.
